    A veces la sencillez es grande..Esta película me provocó cuando la vi por primera vez una sensanción de bienestar y de tranquilidad tan grande que dije Que Delicia de película.; quizás por eso John Ford ganó sus oscars por peliculas como estas y no por las que más se hiciera famoso
     
    Además del Oscar de Ford, la película recibió 3 nominaciones de la Academia: mejor película, mejor actor de reparto (Víctor McLaglen), y mejor guión (Frank Nugent).
